Art by Lou Myers ( Nukeloader ) . This is one of the earliest pieces commissioned for the Strikers website. Lou Myers did a wonderful job depicting a scene from our storyline in which the solahma Mechwarriors of Strider's Strikers make their final stand against the Word of Blake. Lou did a series of 12 sketches for the site but we were unable to receive the last of them after a loss of contact. He has been inactive on Deviant Art since that time. We hope he's okay, wherever he might be. His hard work for our site is certainly much appreciated! Lou's profile can be seen here: [link]

With the Word of Blake making an all out assault on the Strider's Strikers base of operations, the solahma Mechwarriors of Clan Nova Cat realized they were in a position to help their unit and find glory in a last stand. Like all solahma (warriors who have been forced to retire from fighting because they are past their prime), they hoped to die in battle in order to gain some glory for their Clan. When the Word of Blake offered to oblige them in a batchall that was terribly unfair, the solahmas under the command of Mechwarrior Fox effectively delayed the Blakist invaders so that other Striker personnel could evacuate. Those Mechs shown here are Jarred's Wolfhound, Shard's Sirocco, and Fox's Bushwhacker.

these are interesting mech's but I'd rather perfrer wolf's dragoon's equipment there battle armor can hack she's mech to eject the piolet.

This is pretty great. I think it's the only other art for a Sirocco other than in the TRO.

Thanks a lot man. I thought it was going to be quite a challenge with all the Sircco's paneling, but Lou was up for it and he did a hell of a job in just one try. Kudos for the comments.
